Returning to Work from Childcare Leave: Getting Up to Speed
Returning to work following childcare leave can be stressful but we have lots of resources to help ease you back to work.
Sourcing childcare: Through Bright Horizons Care Advantage you can receive preferred enrollment and a discount for full-time childcare. For members who are close to our Princeton, NJ office, the Dow Jones Family Center is available for childcare enrollment ages 6 weeks to 6 years, including full-day kindergarten.
Register for Programs ahead of time: Don’t wait until you need them to sign up for them.
- Bright Horizons Care Advantage–20 days a year in back up childcare and new parents get an additional 20 days in the first year of baby’s life
- Sitter City–Access to already screened sitters or household help
- Ovia Parenting–App that allows you to track baby’s milestones and share with your inner village
- Included Health–Connect with the best doctors and get a second opinion when you need one
- One Medical–Just like you make time for baby’s doctor visits, you need to make time for yourself. Members in major locations like NYC, DC, Chicago, San Fran all have access to One Medical
- 98point6–Getting sick doesn’t always happen between 9-5, members of Aetna have 98point6 as a resource for telephonic or video conferencing with a doctor for ailments like a sinus infection or pink eye. All virtual visits will be done through the 98point6 app.
Making a connection: Are there other new parents in your department that can be a part of your parenting network? People you can bounce good and bad days off of? You also have Resources for Living which gives you 10 free face to face visits and unlimited telephonic counseling services, because we all need someone to talk to.
Review your benefits and beneficiaries: Log onto The Benefits Center and Fidelity to review all your programs and ensure you’ve updated your beneficiaries. Make sure you’ve taken care of those that you love.
Finding time for You: Our offices in New York and Princeton have onsite gyms. It’s important that you take care of you too, working out can not only improve physical health, but your emotional health too.
