Summer Camps and COVID-19
Summer is just around the corner. With news that many traditional camp programs may not be operational this summer, you may be looking for safe, alternative child care options to help them make it through the long summer months of no school. While the Crisis Care provision will end on May 31, 2020, we wanted to update you on some of the ways Bright Horizons® is preparing to support your employees in this time of need.
In-Home Care Expansion – Throughout the past two months, they’ve served tens of thousands of employees through in-home back-up care. In anticipation of higher demand this summer, they are working with their network agencies to add even more caregivers. During this time, they are taking appropriate precautionary measures with specific health and safety guidelines for our in-home care providers. Learn more here.
COVID-19 Protocols for Centers – Many centers in their network are open and they are looking forward to reopening more centers over the summer. Bright Horizons centers are operating with special COVID-19 health and safety protocols including limited capacity, small group sizes, and intensive hygiene and cleaning practices. They have also provided these protocols to our network centers as best practice guidelines. See more details here.
As a part of Bright Horizons Additional Family Supports™, they now offer a new high-touch nanny placement service at a reduced cost to you.
At-Home Resources – In addition to videos, activities, and webinars available on the Bright Horizons World at Home site, they are looking at additional ways they can offer programming to support parents with children at home.
