How can Aetna be a resource to you during COVID-19
Aetna has great resources available to help you through Covid-19.
1. Aetna One Advocate – If you have questions about coverage, provider participation, general questions or help navigating care during this time, call 800-338-8047. You can also speak with a nurse who can help support your care needs.
2. 24 Hour Nurse Line – 1-800 –556 –1555. This is a phone line that is staffed 24/7 by registered nurses. They can help address questions and offer assistance on seeking care.
3.For emotional help we have Aetna’s crisis resource line phone number. 833-327-AETNA / 833-327-2386. This would be in addition to your Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) which is available to all employees and family members at 855-807-0013
4.As a reminder, in order to help members avoid unnecessary exposure to COVID-19, Aetna is encouraging the use of telemedicine for any provider visit. Any provider may bill for a visit that is conducted by using certain telemedicine codes and they will be paid 100% by the plan for both the POS, CDHP and Select plan. This could be for telemedicine visits for PCP, Specialists or others. When seeking care, members should request a telemedicine visit from their providers.
5. 98point6, as our telemedicine provider, is also available that can help triage your symptoms and help you direct your care to self-isolating or directing you when necessary to in-person care.
